Out of all the ads that i have seen over the years, i think the easiest ones to remember are television commercials. It evident that people watch tv at least once a day so they are more likely to see an ad. Plus, the ad is actually moving and can carry on a story line better than a single picture on a billboard. Some of my favorite ads do a great job in evicting certain emotion, happiness, sadness, laughter. I don't know what it is but Publix always does a great job evicting all of these kinds of emotions. Some in particular that i remeber are on thanksgiving when the Pilgrim salt and pepper shakers turn out all the lights so they can eat some of the delicious food. That commercials makes me laugh every time. Oh man, the one for the fourth of July when the little boy wants to give the pretty girl one of his cupcakes, then she can't find her and she ends up finding him with one of her one cupcakes, makes me cry everytime. All of these were good, but the one that i remeber the most that makes me happiest of all is the mothers day commercial. The little boy asks his mom for help making a cake for a special someone.

This one gets me evertime. I think that evoking these kinds of emotions is the job of the advertising companies. For sure, if there commercials don't evok any kind of emotion out of a person they aren't going to buy their product.
