Beer makes you beautiful? I am not sure if the intent of this commercial is to seriously say that beer makes you beautiful to me it seems like they are going above and beyond something most companies normally do to make fun. However, despite the satire, it does happen. Why is it that you are cool when you drink, or when you smoke? Personally, I think a drunk person is funny, and they are fun to laugh at. "Drink beer. Be laughed at." Where's that commercial? "smoke. get cancer." I understand that advertising is supposed to make your product desirable, but I think it sends the wrong impression to society. To answer the last question, no you cant blame them actually. I enjoy companies who make fun of their own kind like the above clip.
