Journal 8

The tone of the way I write always changes depending on how I am talking to. When I am writing something that I will present to my teacher, I am more concerned with getting my point across in the most intellegent sounding way possible. I tend to use bigger words and make sure that me sentence flow is logical and correct. However, when I know only my peers or friends will be reading something I am not as concerned with sounding intelligent but rather getting my idea or point across. Hence why I am more likely to use short hand or be more creative in the way I present such ideas. Its extrememly important to know who is your audience so that you can focus on aspects of the paper that each different groups of audience will be concerned with. Even when writing for teachers its important to be aware of what they're expectations are and whatnot. It will help keep your audience interested in what you are writing if it is written in a way that will appeal to them
