I really don't think alot about my writing style when I am writing; my style just kind of comes naturally. I generally tend to lean towards a more conversational tone however, because I feel that a more personal level will speak differently to the readers. Voice definitely varies with the audience. I'm not about to write a paper for a history class with the same tone as I would write on my friend's facebook wall.
