Usually everytime I write anything for school, I definitly consider my style of writing and voice. When i write for school, I try to make my tone of the paper for the teacher to grade and for me to sound "smart". But in everyday language I never consider my style of voice just becasue im not getting graded on it. I also feel that when we get to college and beyond, we are expected to sound more proper and correct. My style always changes when I consider my audience. When I write to my friends, I never think of my style and sometimes even abbreviate things. But when writing to a teacher or elder I try to sound more educated I guess. I feel that lots of people today do the same thing.
