I remember always having interest in cars and racing as a kid. Also in the environment and nature as a result of living across the street from the gulf in a fairly undeveloped area. So as far as television and video games, my interest typically fell in these categories. Games such as Gran Turismo and Need for Speed and any other racing game captivated me. The Idea of building and racing your own vehicle was fun in a game so I could only imagine how great it must be in reality. The more I played the more interested i became so i would say that this contributed influence to my "automotive enthusiasm." T.V. programs that caught my eye were of course any racing or custom car building shows. I also enjoyed learning ineresting facts about the world on discovery channel or history channel when growing up. I think these shows helped me to start thinking about different things and putting my world in perspective, so I'd say they influenced me in that aspect.
