Journal 8

I really don't think about my style when I write. I don't think I have a particular style, but I feel that it's easier for me to write when I'm writing about myself, or something of my own choice. When you're given an assignment that you aren't really fond of, I think it's harder to write about and more difficult to do your best. I believe that the audience does affect your style when you write. When you're writing something for a grade you're concerned about everything, and you try to write your best. When most people write in a journal or something like that, they aren't really concerned about how it sounds. The most important factor of writing, in my opinion, is your audience, because that really affects how you write. So the style of writing may change with the audience. When your audience is a teacher or for a grade, we try to write correct, speak proper English and sound intelligent.
