Journal 8
My writing is generally very objective and rigid. I am usually much better at writing critically than I am at expressing emotions or feelings. I get a point across by providing evidence and and explaining it thoroughly. This can cause my writing to be quite boring. While I may feel strongly about the topic I am writing, it rarely translates to my writing. I write largely like a lawyer, which makes sense for my field of study. I will, however, need to grow as a writer and to learn to project my emotions into my writing. It will be hard to convince the judge and jury if I can't learn to project my emotions in a written form. I plan on studying a certain political figure who can project his thoughts and ideas with beautiful writing as well as thundering speaches.
